Kathmandu, May 2: The question paper of the English subject under the ongoing Grade XII examinations held by the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) is found to have multiple flaws with corrections needed in more than seven places.

The Grade XII examinations started today nationwide. National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) College student, Amir Chaulagain, who appeared in the exam at the Navodit Higher Secondary School, Samakhusi, said that the students were confused after the annual exam paper came out full of mistakes. The student questioned, “How can we give answers if the question paper is flawed?”

Higher Secondary Schools’ Association – Nepal (HISSAN), Kathmandu District Vice Chairman and English subject teacher, Rajendra Adhikari, said such a question paper would create fear and stoke mental issues among the students. “It is not right that HSEB is taking the examinations underway across the country in a light manner,” he said.
