Mahottari
Police
have
arrested
a
petrol
pump
operator
from
Ramgopalpur
VDC
of
the
district
on
Wednesday
evening.
The
arrested
is
Mukesh
Chaudhary
of
Aurahi-5
of
the
district
who
has
been
operating
Mahalaxmi
Oil
Stores
at
Ramgopalpur-7,
said
SP
of
Mahottari
District
Police
Office
Janak
Bhattarai.
A
monitoring
team
headed
by
Assistant
Chief
District
Officer
of
Mahottari
Kiran
Thapa
had
arrested
Chaudhary
for
duping
clients
by
dispensing
less
fuel
than
the
volume
read
by
the
meter.
The
monitoring
team
found
that
petrol
operator
have
been
cheating
customers
190
ml
petrol
on
sale
of
every
five
litres
and
110
ml
diesel
on
the
same
amount,
said
Assistant
CDO
Thapa.
SP
Bhatatrai
said
that
the
police
registered
a
case
of
cheating
and
black-racketeering
against
him
and
action
will
be
taken
accordingly.
