Chitwan, March 30: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Planning and Transport, Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar, has said that reconstruction task would be completed before the rainy season.
Talking to media persons at Bharatpur today, DPM Gachchhadar clarified that reconstruction task was delayed as the formulation of the action plan in this regard took long.
He claimed that the government has been carrying out works in order to complete settlement construction task to the most-quake affected people before the rainy season.
Stating that the main priority of the government was development and construction works, construction and reconstruction tasks should be taken ahead simultaneously.
The DPM said that the Prime Minister’s India visit became fruitful to improve the strained relations with India while the China visit to bail out the country from the energy crisis.
He also said that solution of all problems should be found out amending the new constitution, saying Madhes issues and political issues should be settled through talks.
DPM Gachchhadar arrived in Chitwan to inaugurate the 18th annual general meeting and silver jubilee of the Federation of Contractor’s Association of Nepal.
