Kathmandu, March 29: A woman injured during strong wind on Monday died while undergoing treatment at Manamohan Memorial Hospital at Swayambhu in the Capital last night.

A permanent resident of Mahendranagar, Bimala Magar, 35, was injured while running to protect herself when bricks from the roof of the house at Nagarjun-4 in Sitapaila in Kathmandu where she was staying in a rented apartment started falling due to the violent dust storm, police said.

The body of Magar was sent to Teaching Hospital for examination, police said.
At least 11 persons were injured when the powerful wind gust occurred on Monday.
