Pokhara, March 17: The 37th Ministerial Meeting of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) is taking place in Pokhara on Thursday.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the meeting to take place at the Grand Hotel in Pokhara.
Foreign/External Affairs Ministers and representatives from all eight countries of the SAARC region are attending the meeting.
Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa is chairing the meeting. The Foreign/External Ministers from all the participating countries have already arrived in Pokhara on Wednesday to attend the meeting.
The meeting would dwell on the agendas set by the SAARC Standing Committee for the ministerial meeting and matters concerning regional cooperation, shared Nepal’s Foreign Affaris Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi.
