Kathamandu: The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) is set to draw the attention of the Legislature-Parliament about the ongoing Tarai/Madhes agitation.
The UDMF plans to present its agendas and picket the rostrum at the meeting of the Legislature-Parliament on Sunday to mount pressure on the government to address the demands, according to Laxmanlal Karna, Co-chair of Sadbhawana Party, one of the parties in the UDMF alliance.
UDMF has accused the government of turning a deaf ear towards the voices of Tarai/Madhes and hence pushing the nation towards uncertainty.
Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party and Tarai Madhes Sadbhavana Party and Sadbhawana Party are in the UDMF.
Although UDMF has been boycotting the parliamentary activities since the promulgation of the constitution, it participated in the prime ministerial election. RSS
