Kathamandu: The government has distributed 3,000 litres of petrol to the journalists working in Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday.
The Ministry of Commerce and Supplies distributed the fuel from Kalimati-based petrol pump of National Trading Limited.
Information Officer at the National Trading Limited, Geeta Niraula, said that media persons with two-wheelers were provided petrol equivalent to Rs 500 while those having four-wheel vehicles got fuel equivalent to Rs 1,500 on the basis of press pass issued by the Department of Information.
Niraula said that most of the media persons who had reached for the fuel did not get it. The next distribution to the media persons will now take place after the government issues next notice. RSS
