Dhangadhi, Aug 24: As many as 16 security personnel including SSP Laxman Neupane and three demonstrators have been confirmed dead in a clash between Tharuhat demonstrators and police today.
The deceased are SSP Neupane, Inspectors duo Balram Bista and Keshav Bohara of the District Police Office, Kailali.
Assistant chief District officer of Kailali Uday Bahadur Singh shared that 11 police personnel of the Armed Police Force and three demonstrators were also killed in the clash. Their identity is yet to be confirmed. RSS
