announced
an
award
in
memory
of
the
late
sports
journalist
Suman
Bhomjan
who
lost
his
life
in
the
last
year’s
April
earthquake.
This
was
informed
at
a
condolence
meet
organised
here
Sunday
to
commemorate
the
day
Bhomjan’s
body
was
recovered
from
the
debris
of
his
capital-based
rented
house
after
a
week
of
the
disaster.
The
annual
award
will
be
presented
to
a
sport
journalist,
or
a
sports
couch
or
any
individual
associated
with
the
sports
sector.
Bhomjan,
also
a
founding
chair
of
Sports
Journalists
Forum
Makwanpur,
was
associated
with
the
Gorkhapatra
Daily.
