Kathmandu: Senior journalist Gopal Prasad Thapaliya has pointed out the need of managing passport system for the border security between Nepal and India.

He added that though there was a historical bilateral relations at the peoples level between two countries, some Indian rulers and fault players were found misleading and provoking the people in different times therefore, passport system was essential.

The passport system was essential even for the security of Nepal, he said.

Talking to RSS Thapaliya added that some Indian factors were found involved in terai protest to provoke the people and it has proved that some fault players were active to harm the bilateral relations.

Journalist Thapaliya has recently returned home after receiving treatment in USA, as he is suffering from Myasthenia gravis disease.

Journalist Thapaliya was felicitated with press freedom fighter award as well. Journalist Thapaliya further claimed that the ongoing terai protest will not be beneficial to democracy and it will lead the country towards disintegration in the future.

Thapaliya was raising the voices for nationality and national independency while he was in US. Journalist Thapaliya will go to US for further treatment after collecting financial supports. RSS
